Ann Osmundson	Friday 15 May 2009 3:47:52 am My daughters and I are planning our trip to Norway in September and am looking forward to it very much. I know that my Osmundsen family lived at Savalastoga and Tvitekkja, also had family at Lofthus. I am not sure where these farms are actually located and would very much like to see where they are. I am hoping that someone would gracious enough to help me locate these farms or suggest some one or someplace that would be able to do so. I think they may be located in the Rauland area. I would appreciate any help so we can see our Norwegian heritage. Thank you Ann
Turid Engh	Thursday 28 May 2009 11:48:47 am There are in 1900 2 Tvitekken farms, southern and northern - but both in Rauland. There are 2 Svalastog farms as well, one in Vinje and one in Rauland. Lofthus - several farms with that name in Telemark, also one in Rauland. Ragards from Turid Interested in genealogy
Thomas Thompson	Saturday 06 June 2009 10:28:00 pm Ann, My family came from Svalastoga farm near Flatdal in Telemark. I have contacted a person there who sent me a picture he took this year. Plus I have another picture from a book. Could this be the farm you are looking for? If so I would be glad to email the pics to you. We are planning to go there late May 2010. Tom Thompson
Ann Osmundson	Wednesday 17 June 2009 3:24:15 am I appreciate the responses on my search............at this point I don't know which where these farms might be located but I think that they might be located fairly close to each other. Is it possible that one of these would be in the Lake Totak area? I don't think that the Svalastoga is in the Flatdal area, but I do not know for sure. Thanks for offering a copy of the farm but I hope I can find out if it is the right one first. Thanks Ann
