They had been visiting Bergen, Stalheim, Kristiansand , Morgedal and Rjukan before they came here. A visit that they really appreciated was a visit to Liv and Bjøro Håland's home at Vigeland on the south coast. But they had also been to Sauherad to find family graves at Nes Cemetery, they had been on the Canal Boat, and to Ragnhild Hagen's farm in Holla. The group spent two nights here in Skien which gave them time to visit our City Hall, Ibsen Venstøp, Brekkeparken and Porsgrund Porselænsfabrik. They also enjoyed a walk in the streets of Skien on a Saturday morning. Several people in the group had relatives in Skien, Porsgrunn and Klovholt.
After Skien the group went to Kongsberg and Oslo, and they left for home from Gardermoen.
